Tåket Kjellsby

Tåket is one of the 2 main protaganists of The Windows Have Fogged. After dropping out of college, she started working as a park ranger in Dovrefjell National Park, where she's worked for 8 years. Tåket is a Norwegian forest cat and is usually seen wearing a heavy green winter coat.

Pre-Timeloop

Tåket was the only child born to two parents who did not particularly want her. They split 6 years after her birth, but stayed living together. She never got along well with her peers from the moment she started school. She was not great at school, getting mid-level scores, and did not pursue a higher education. Tåket picked up smoking cigarettes, as well as drinking (but not an alcoholic).

Tåket thinks of herself as unsatisfied with her life, but does not see any possibility of fixing it. Norwegian culture generally promotes conforming and a modest life, but Tåket took these values to more of an extreme. She lives alone in a nearly empty cabin. She has 1 of every kitchen piece she uses. She has nothing on her walls, nothing on display.

Timeloop

Post-Timeloop

After the timeloop, Tåket searches incessently for Ceeryaami. She starts spending more time in Trondheim hoping she comes across Ceeryaami. Ceeryaami doesn't seem to live in the same house she did before. She drives to the homes of Jackie and Lykke to try and find out more information, neither of which are home any of the dozen times she tries to visit. Eventually both Jackie and Ceeryaami move, and Tåket has no leads at all.

Tåket regrets everyday ending the loop, but she also wonders how she could really live in a life that resets over and over. She tries even harder to get involved with others, knowing how good it can feel, and she is continually rejected from each group she tries to join. After 5 or 6 years of bouncing around, she is dejected and returns to her hermit lifestyle.
